NYX Glitterati Glitter Cream Pallette

I saw this in River Island and thought that it would be perfect for Halloween! It was £14 which I dont think is too unreasonable, the colours are beautiful...

...and you do get a fair bit of product. I applied the green, gold, blue and white/silver shades, some seemed to blend more than others but I felt as the cream shadow warmed up on my eye it became easier to blend. I ended up packing/patting some of the product on, it took a while to reach the desired effect but once on it looked pretty!

I'm glad I purchased this as I know I will use this pallete for make up looks and halloween, I'm not majorly impressed with the application however I did use this over the top of my everyday eyeshadow which I think made it quite patchy and difficult to apply. I feel on a clean, primed lid it would work much better, and im looking forward to testing out some of the other colours in Make up looks!

Mac Collective Haul

As you can probably tell, im a BIG fan of Mac. Nearly every payday I treat myself to something from MAC. These are the bits I've chosen over the past few months...

* Mac Brave - A satin finish pink-beige lipstick, this is definately a 'my lips but better' shade for me, I'm always hesitant to buy MAC lipsticks as I feel they are so expensive at £13.50 but when I swatched this in MAC I fell in love with the colour and thought I would treat myself :)

MAC Quad Palette - £6.50 - im hoping to keep 4 everyday nude staples in this, I want to get a highlighter colour, all over lid color and maybe brow colour to put in this too. If anyone has any suggestions of 4 staple eyeshadows that I could put in this I would love to know below please!

* MAC Sable £9.50 (pro palette refil pan) - 'Gold-Plum with pearl' - Its a lovely Taupey brown/bronze/purple colour that I think I would use in the crease or under the eye. I prefer a lighter colour for all over the lid but I can imagine this would also really work well as a lid colour for a lot of people.
* MAC Shadesticks-
'Butternutty - 'Frosted light natual beige' - This is a lovely champaigne highlighting colour and is so quick and easy to apply. The packaging feels a bit plasticy but I love the product.
'Heirloom' - 'Light icy Pink' - This is a beautiful pink/violet colour. I love the names of the shadesticks!

I think next payday i'll invest in some more eyeshadows!

What are your fave MAC products?

October Glossybox

I'm really impressed with this months Glossybox, I feel that the majority of the products included are well known and really good quality.
Im not sure how I feel about the 3 Dermalogica products, I'm really interested to try them however 3 samples of 1 brand isn't really that much variety. I think the fact that they are 'Age smart' products is also adding to my 'omg im 25 next month' quater life crisis im going through at the moment lol!
The think the pink and red perfume samples smell lovely, im not sure about the yellow, it isnt really my taste but im sure other people may like it :)

My Favourite product is definately the Stila eyeliner, It is Such a pretty colour irl and it is the most smudgeproof liner that I have ever seen! This is the one product so far that I would repurchase when it runs out.

I love reading other Glossybox or other boxes reviews so if you have done one please let me know below! I love seeing what everyone's got and thinks about them!

Bobbi Brown Corrector

I've always had really dark circles and no matter how many litres of water I drink and hours of beauty sleep I get, my dark circles just wont disappear!
Ive heard a lot about the Bobbi Brown correctors so I went to test it out at a Bobbi brown counter. The girls there were really lovely, they told me that I needed to keep the area hydrated and recommended their hydrating eye cream as well as the corrector.
The eye cream is good, but at £28 (the girls said £26 so im not sure whether it differs in John Lewis to online) I feel it was just too pricey, I got a sample pot but I just dont think I can justify spending that much on an eye cream.
However I bought the corrector...

The corrector comes in 'Peach' and 'Bisque' colours. Bisque is Pink based and Peach is peach based. There are a quite a few shades avaliable, I'm an NW25 in MAC concealer and my colour for the corrector is Bisque.
The purpose of this corrector is to erase the dark circles by neutralising the bluey green purpley tones with pink or peach. In the past I have piled on heavy concealer to do the job that just a small amount of the corrector does.

This product has been a savior for me, the heavy concealer I used to use made the skin under my eyes feel heavy, dry and started to give me visible lines (Eeek!) This product can be used on its own but it is recommended to use a small amount of concealer cover the top. It states to be infused with conditioning agents, it will neutralise discolouration and is easy to blend and isnt meant to crease (it does a tiny bit on me).

I absolutely love this product and couldnt recommend it enough!
