I added this to my basket last minute when I was placing a cheeky topshop order as I thought it looked like a lovely Rose Gold nailvarnish. I would never normally buy a nailvarnish without seeing it in store or as a swatch first but I love Topshop nailvarnishes and already have quite a collection so I knew I would like the consistency and finish.
I can't quite figure out the exact colour of this nailvarnish, Topshop describes it as 'Rose' but I think it looks a bit more bronzey or maybe just light gold with a hint of rose. It's a pretty colour and I think this would work really well as an accent nail as well. Sunday, September 9, 2012

Jessica Nail Oil
Jessica Phenomen oil -£11.60 feel unique
I was recommended Jessica Nail oil by my local Nail salon to use after I had shellac done. The Nail technician had tried twice to give me shellac nails, but due to my weak, peeling nails, the shellac just kept on chipping.
I've tried strengthening/repairing base coats, but they just don't seem to work on my nails. I thought I would give Jessica Phenomen oil a go to see whether it would help as It contains moisturising ingredients such as Vitamin E, sweet almond oil, jojoba and Rice oil to keep the nail supple.
This smells amazing, its like a subtle almond smell, a bit like marzipan. Its not greasy and can also be used on dry elbows, knees and feet. I use a drop on my nails almost every night and massage into my cuticles. I've been using this on and off for about 3 months now and I can definitely notice a difference. My nails no longer peel, they feel much stronger and they're even growing faster! I have been giving my nails a couple of days break in between wearing nail varnish and I think a combination of that and using the nail oil have really helped to transform my nails.

Avon Supershock Mascara
Supershock Mascara - Avon
I saw this free with Marie Claire when I was in the supermarket, I was actually looking for a new mascara and thought I may as well give it a try as getting the magazine was a lot cheaper than buying my usual mascara!
This isn't normally the type of mascara that I would go for, I like my lashes to have a lot of volume and length but Supershock gives your lashes a more of a spidery effect. I had to use quite a few coats to try to make my lashes look fuller!
It has a really good formula that doesn't budge or flake off during the day and it's amazing at coating every lash and layering up without clumping. The wand is quite big and bulky and with all the little spikes if you accidentally poke it in your eye it really, really hurts lol! Perfect for a more natural look or spidery effect if you prefer that look.

Topshop Necklace
Necklace - Topshop £7.50I went into Topshop a couple of weeks ago hoping to get a look at the orelia jewelry as I love their collection, especially the little rose gold star necklace. I tried 4 different Topshops but couldn't find it anywhere! In the last Topshop that I went into, I found this necklace, it was the last one and I was so happy as I actually prefer it to the star necklace! I've wanted a bunting-esque necklace for ages now and its so pretty, Its quite small and dainty which I like as I don't really suit chunky necklaces, perfect to team with slouchy jumpers for autumn.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Honey

| L-R Honey - Lovesick - Rendezvous - Darling - Cherish - Crush - Romantic |
I picked up revlon balm stain in honey, but I also want to get Lovesick and Crush - which is a shade that I would never normally brave but I think it would be lovely for the autumn.
Revlon seem to be on a roll this year with their lip products, first with their lip butters and now their lip balm stains. I cant wait to see what they bring out next!

Glossybox May Anniversary Box
Happy Birthday Glossybox!
As Glossybox were celebrating their 1st Anniversary, I was really looking forward to getting my Glossybox this month. I'm happy with the products I got and I love the glossybox mirror and balloon which I think is such a cute touch!
I did think back to the first ever Glossybox with the full sized Nars illuminator and would have loved another 'wow' product to celebrate this month, however the some of the past Glossyboxes have been really good and it is great value considering the moisturiser alone is £12!
I'm really excited to try the Neils Yard Moisturiser as my mum uses a lot of Neils Yard products and has amazing skin! I don't tend to splash out on moisturiser so it will be interesting to try. The collection gel eyeliner looks nice, although I'm not too sure about the brush, I love the maybelline eyeliner and brush so it will be good to compare them!
I also got a couple of perfume samples which smell nice, but I never really use perfume samples so i'm sure they'll end up with the rest at the back of my cupboard! The Noble isle bath and shower gel also smells good, quite manly so I'm sure my bf will be using it too!

Loreal Haul
For the past year, my Staple eyeliner has been Loreal Carbon Gloss Liquid eyeliner. I wear liquid eyeliner everyday and so Loreal Carbon gloss ticks all the right boxes for me as it's long lasting, the wand is a good size and the pigmentation is strong. Recently, everytime I go into Boots or superdrug they have been sold out! I know Loreal have brought out a new line of eyeliners so I hope they're not discontinuing Carbon gloss, I can't find it anywhere!
In the end I gave up looking for it and bought the next closest thing, Loreal Super Liner in Black. It's very similar to Carbon Gloss, the wand looks exactly the same, the pigmentation is dare I say, even better than carbon gloss and its also quite matte which I actually prefer. The only downside is I don't think its as smudge resistant as carbon gloss, it is long lasting, but seems to rub off easier.
While I was at the Loreal counter, I thought I would try out a couple more of Loreals products that Fleur mentioned in her March monthly favourites. I picked up Loreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick in 'Tempting Lilac' and Loreal colour Infallible eyeshadow in Sahara treasure.
I really like the colour of the Rouge Caresse lipstick, its a gorgeous pinky lilac colour and looks really pretty together with the Infallible eyeshadow. A lot of people actually prefer the Caresse lipsticks to the Revlon lip butters and although I love the colour and glossiness that the Caresse has, it feels more like a lipstick and the moisturising benefits don't seem to sink in to my lips. It also doesn't last as long on my lips as the Revlon lip butters do for me.
Loreal Infallible eyeshadow is by far my favourite product I picked up. It is a gorgeous taupe colour which works best applied with a fluffy brush swept all over the eye. It's such a pretty everyday colour and is fast becoming my new favourite eyeshadow! Fleur also mentioned in her video that Giorgio Armani are owned by the same company as Loreal and that this eyeshadow is similar to the Giorgio Armani eye shadows which is a bonus!
Whats your favourite Loreal product?
