A January To Do List

january to do list
1. Buy pink tulips, things are looking a little bare without the christmas decor (sob!), a bunch of fresh blooms are ideal to brighten up the home!

2. Keep hold of winter comforts and routines. Read or knit by candlelight, bake fruit crumbles with cinnamon and oats and bundle up in blankets with mugfuls of hot chocolate.

3. Splurge on something in the January sales - I love this cute blush knit and cosy button up pair of pyjamas!

4. Make Rosie's Make Ahead Smoothies for breakfast, or whip up a batch of warming homemade soup with immune boosting butternut squash, ginger and red chilli soup to freeze for lunches!

5. Invest in a new base, it's all about fresh, dewy skin for me this January! I love the concept behind Beauty Pie, their Great Skin foundation* is a heavenly pick, I just need to buy another shade - and maybe pick up a few more things! Or perhaps I'll finally repurchase my fave luxe Nars base, Nars Sheer Glow is so dreamy!

6. Get outside to top up on vitamin d and to keep winter blues at bay. Take wintry walks bundled up in lot's of layers!

7. Listen to music. So happy that Ed Sheeran has dropped two new singles today, hopefully an album is on the way soon! It's perfect timing to fill the home with music again after the quiet lull after Christmas!

8. Declutter my MacBook. The Mycloud sounds like the perfect solution for storing photo's and files to be easily accessed, you can connect to it from your phone too, it sounds ideal!

9. Update my bedding with huge, squashy Ikea square cushions, a billowy throw and new sheets - this supersoft fleece bed set looks like heaven!

10. Learn and use three new words a week, starting with infinitesimal (thanks Jennie!), mellifluous, a sound that is sweet, smooth and pleasingly musical to hear and Petrichor, the smell after rain.

A December To Do List

1. Decorate! String up fairy lights, hang tinsel, baubles and embellish the tree. We're still unpacking and so I've resolved to sort out the flat before putting the tree up, hopefully it will be this weekend!

2. Paint my fingers and toes with all of the sparkly, glittery nail polishes! Essie Glow Your Own Way is a current fave, it's a gorgeous pick with bronze and white glitter flecks!

3. Splurge on the Diptyque Espices et Delices Christmas candle, a divine gingerbread, honey and star anise scented treat - Merry Christmas to me, from me!

4. Have a weekly festive ritual - pop on a Christmas film whilst tucking into a tub of roses or a chocolate orange, with candles and tree lights twinkling and spiced mulled drinks! Try belvoir for a glorious non alcoholic version of mulled wine!

5. Pull out the soft, festive, brushed cotton bedding (from Primark, of course!) - I'm so happy that it's finally cold enough to put back on a snug winter set!

6. Cheese. Buy all of the vegan cheese (Thank you Sainbury's & Violife!!) to have on crackers. Stock up on olives, sauerkraut, jalapeƱos and grapes to pair with - isn't this just the best time of the year?!

7. Have a huge Lush spree, stock up on all my festive faves before they disappear (sob!).

8. Read the Fantastic Beasts Screenplay, I loved the film, how cute is that lil Niffler!

9. Snap up one of these chic River Island party dresses, I can't decide between this velvet number or this lace tiered dress!

10. Pick up the Christmas Radio Times and circle all my picks - a yearly tradition!

A November To Do List

beauty blogger
November's quite possibly my favourite month - silver frosted morning's, glittering skies and the lead up to Christmas, plus it's my birthday month! With a lot of life admin, a move and Christmas shopping on the agenda this month, I'm still planning on squeezing this list into November's busy days...

1. Take a peek at the new Essie Luxe 2016 collection - they're such festive glittery picks!

2. Find a pleated midi skirt to pair with a slouchy knit and ankle boots. I love this mauve pick, this pink satin finish skirt also this pink Topshop velvet number is the dream, it's SO pretty!

3. Crack out Michael Buble's Christmas album.

4. Revel in the incredible TV/Film picks this month - Gilmore Girls (Nov 25th), Fantastic Beasts (Nov 18th) and GOT (S6 on DVD, finally!)

5. Give Thanks. I know it's not really the norm to celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK, but considering that UK brands have jumped on the Black Friday bandwagon, I think It's nice to embrace Thanksgiving too!

6. Spice up my hot chocolates with cinnamon, praline, gingerbread or toffee nut syrups!

7. Catch a glimpse of the supermoon on Nov 14th, it's the largest and closest to the earth the moon has been for a long time!

8. Check out the calm.com app - as I'm moving home, things are bound to get a little stressful this month!

9. Grab a Lindt advent calendar, last year I missed out as they flew off the shelves!

10. Invest in new trinkets and decor for the home. There's so many irresistible, cute pieces in stores right now!
